Almond and Apple Explosion - Raw Vegan GF Treats


I know what you're thinking, "These must be packed with sugar and calories"

Well, actually, these Almond Apple Truffles are made without any sugar, are gluten free, dairy free, and are vegan.

Now let's get our hands dirty with these "clean" Almond Apple Explosions!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup + 1 tbsp. Almond Meal by Red Mill
  • 1 medium Apple, grated (with skin)
  • 3 tbsp. Natural Almond Butter
  • 1 pinch of Sea Salt (brings out all the flavor)
  • 1 tbsp. Lemon Juice and the Peel (use organic lemon, peel first and then juice)
  • 1 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 2-3 tbsp. Cocoa Powder or Hot Chocolate Powder, your choice (for rolling)


Tip: you could also use almond meal or any other nut for rolling
Tip: feel free to experiment with spices and flavors!

Directions: (so simple!)

  1. Mix everything together 
  2. Roll with coconut oil-covered hands into little bit-size pieces
  3. Roll them in the cocoa powder or coconut flakes
